1. Explore the Ruins at Old Mill Park

Near downtown Roswell you’ll find Old Mill Park, home to what remains of the Roswell Manufacturing Company Mills. Built in 1839 and 1853, both textile mills were burned by Union forces during Sherman’s March to the Sea in 1864. Rebuilt after the war, the 1853 mill was destroyed again by fire in 1926. Today, only ruins remain, along with the picturesque creek and waterfall that powered the originals. A covered pedestrian bridge and winding trails make this a destination for local photographers and history buffs. 

2. Visit the Chattahoochee Nature Center

The Chattahoochee Nature Center offers unique events and activities throughout the year for kids and adults of all ages. Guided night hikes, enchanted woodland paths, themed crafts, and a kids' day camp are just a few of the events on the upcoming schedule.
